According to a new study Which English (Supervisor consumers), computer keyboards are dirtier toilets and house millions of bacteria, with some of the microbes (including Escherichia coli and Staphylococcus) that may cause diarrhea and vomiting.
The study has been analyzed and compared 30 keyboards with many cups and door handles in the bathrooms of a typical London office. A keyboard was so toxic that they constitute a health hazard, with a rate 5 times greater than the dirt cups. Two other keyboards allarmenti had levels of bacteria, creating a risk to the user if they had expanded, and a further two had high levels of coliform bacteria associated with fecal matter.
Apparently, the situation può peggiorare se si mangia sul terminale, perché le briciole che cadono sulla tastiera vanno a nutrire i microbi. Mangiare snack sulla scrivania è difatti la causa principale della crescita dei batteri.
