In programma c'era una conferenza-incontro di Manfredi nella sede del CAI XXX Ottobre.

Si inizia! La "levataccia" è alle ore 6; preparativi personali di tutto quanto occorre per dare inizio a questi 3 giorni da trascorrere in compagnia di Manfredi, nella parte iniziale della sua grande avventura. Ore 6.45 sto aspettando il mio miglior "braccio destro", Andrea Panarella, per raggiungere Manfredi alla Inn at Caryatids, where he spent the night. The follow-diary .... tonight (if survived)

Ore 8.30 Matavun: ritrovo con gli amici Sergio, Andrea e Dario. Partenza dall'B&B Znidarich: si percorre il sentiero traversale sloveno n° 1. Dopo un belvedere sul fiume Timavo, che scorre 163 metri più in basso, si raggiunge Gradischie the 8 houses.
