Manfredi Last night was already over furnaces. As St. Thomas
almost almost can not believe it if .. " but the photo of the site, to me well known species in its winter dress, witness.
If all goes well, tomorrow Manfredi out of my region and I that, with effort, I decided to limit my interest especially on "Trieste and its surroundings, I followed him, sometimes with l'animo in trepidazione, ben oltre i miei usuali limiti territoriali. Ha combattuto, temuto, sofferto pure, ma dimostrando anche molta saggezza, in definitiva ha saputo, nel solo modo umanamente possibile, trovare la strada più giusta per proseguire con determinazione in direzione della sua meta finale: la sua casa e la sua famiglia. Ho avuto il piacere di averlo come affiatatissimo "compagno di ..camminate.." nei suoi primi 3 giorni del "Guya trekking" e per me è stato un onore e fonte di grande soddisfazione. Ho tifato per lui nei suoi non facili giorni successivi, alle prese con luoghi che so quanto, se il tempo atmosferico e l'apertura rifugi gli avrebbe permesso, si sarebbero mostrati in tutta la loro indubbia bellezza.
Lo seguirò still strong and continuing interest in his home, even though it is now Manfred, by necessity, going farther and farther away, to places unknown to me. Symbolically
greet us tomorrow, the range Montanaia 2334 m altitude, on the edge of my region, in the presence of the natural wonder of the Campanile di Val Montanaia. Many other wonders await him during his long journey, others will certainly inevitable problems to solve and overcome, but will, I am sure other people will appreciate it and are happy to be able to help. Us, or Sergio, Andrea and Rambo will be, at least in thought, still at his side: our hidden hope is that Manfredi, who in We could walk together to know what really is at the moment to end his great enterprise, for an instant return to the mind even those friends from Trieste who accompanied him on his first initial steps.
