Breast cancer
This presentation created with colleagues Daniel, Ross and Daniel for the course of pathology, is based on a case report published in the New England [ Gradishar et al. Case records of the Massachusetts General Hospital. Case 30-2008. A 47-year-old woman with a mass in the breast and a solitary lesion in the thorns. The New England Journal of Medicine (2008) vol. 359 (13) pp. 1382-91 ] .
Through analysis of the case report, we present the main aspects of breast cancer, such as epidemiology, screening, clinical and instrumental evaluation, diagnosis and classification of histological and molecular level, the main prognostic factors and predictive. In addition, bone metastases are treated well and the main drug treatments and surgery, with hints of reconstruction.
